Endermology
Cellulite is the result of fat stores in body tissue, mainly in the hips, stomach, buttocks or thighs. Fat is stored in the fat cells in the lower skin tissue. These cells grow and cause deformation in the cell walls. These deformations arise between the strands of tissue, causing indentations on the surface of the skin and giving it the typical “orange peel” appearance.
Endermology is a gentle, non-invasive, and non-chemical technique for treating cellulite . It simply involves stimulating the body’s natural functions to improve the appearance of the skin.
In Endermology, a special tool is used to massage the target areas on the hips, stomach, thighs or buttocks. During the 35-minute treatment, the patient wears a special elastic suit while the individual wrinkles are and rolled in and out. This “skin workout” builds tissue. This massage can reduce excess fat storage, strengthening and smoothing the skin.
Endermology® can be supplemented with additional treatment programs for scars and age-related loosening of the skin or for sports medicine indications.
Result
In order to obtain good results, the target region should be treated once or twice per week. The results are documented through bodily measurements and before and after pictures. Ten to fifteen basic treatment sessions should be followed by regular monthly individual treatment sessions in order to ensure long-lasting results. Endermology helps strengthen the tissue and improve the skin’s elasticity and appearance by stimulating local microcirculation.
Risk-free treatment
Because it is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that does not use chemicals, there are no risks associated with Endermology®. It simply involves stimulating the body’s natural functions.
Important notes for before and after treatment
- Endermology® is not a substitute for a diet
- The intended results depend on physical conditions (e.g. the general state of the patient’s health, the patient’s weight and skin texture)
– proper nutrition and regular exercise are necessary for obtaining and guaranteeing long-term results
-In order to obtain success with Endermology®, the patient must undergo at least 15, but preferably 20, treatment sessions. In the first few weeks two to three treatments per week are recommended. The first changes can be observed after six to eight treatments.
